The strong foundation of the firm was laid in 1980 by late shri R.R. Abrol who was in the construction trade since 1940 as a class 1 Government contractor. The legacy was then taken forward by late Shri. Rakesh Abrol who was in the construction industry since 1963, with successfully completed projects of clients like DSIIDC, Indian Airlines, IFFCO & Orissa Bhavan. The company established by Late Shri Rakesh Abrol in 1985, formerly known as ‘Crafts India’ , marked the entry of the 3rd generation mascot, Gautam Abrol in year 2000, who with his sense of international style combined with the radical genius lineage, took the company further as Crafts India Homes.
